How to trim a video

If you have a video you would like to trim, you are able to do this from within the Sixty Seconds dashboard.

In order to use the trim function, you must first ensure that you have added your video to your brand media library.

Step 1: Navigate to your brand media folder using the menu on the left hand side of the dashboard.

Step 2: Find the video you wish you trim and click the green scissors button.

Step 3: Enter your desired start frame and end frame (seconds).

Step 4: Click 'save'.

Step 5: To view your trimmed video, nagivate to the 'clips' tab which is located in the brand media library menu.

How to create a landing page

Accepted Answer

Once you have created your video, click the 'PLAY VIDEO' button to open the video page.

Click the 'create landing page' button on the right hand side of the screen.

Step 1: Insert your landing page title. This is not the page URL, the title you enter here will be the title on the landing page itself.

Step 2: Enter your landing page description. This could be a descritpion of your video, product or service. If your video is being used as an outreach video, the description could explain why the individual is receiving the outreach video.

Step 3: Select if you would like to use a solid colour or image for your background media. Once you have made your selection, you will be able to pick an image or colour (depending on which you have chosen).

Step 4: Choose your background opacity.

Step 5: Choose your display logo. This is the logo which will be visible on the landing page. You can choose to use your default company logo, upload a custom logo, or simply choose to use no logo.

Step 6: Enter your button text. Your button will appear below your description. Here it is important to think about which call to action would best accompany your description text.

Step 7: Enter your button URL.

Step 8: Click 'view page' to see the landing page you have created. If you aren't happy with any aspect of your landing page, simply return to the previous page and make changes.

Step 9: Once you are happy with your landing page, click 'publish'.

How to create GIFs and images from your videos

Step 1: Select the video you would like to make a GIF and image of and click 'play video' to open the video page.

Step 2: Above the video you should see 3 tabs:

Step 3: Select GIF, and then click the button 'create GIF'.

Step 4: Select your starting point, duration, and how many times you would like the GIF to loop.

Step 5: Click 'create'.

Step 6: Once your GIF has been created (this can take a while) it will appear under the 'GIF' tab.

Step 7: Your image will be automatically generated when your GIF is created. This will appear under the 'Image' tab.

How to use a brand colour instead of background media?

After you have selected which scene you would like to use and input your content, click the green 'choose media' button.

Instead of selecting a video or image here, select the brand colour you would like to use from the brand colour palette on the right hand side of the screen.

Can I use my own photos and videos when making a video?

Accepted Answer

Yes. These can be uploaded when creating your video. They can also be added to your personal media library allowing you to access them quickly and easily in the future.

Drag and drop or click to select your images or videos. Check the add media to libary to store the media in your brand folder for future use.

What video sizes can I create?

When creating your video you will select which platform you will be using to share your content. Your video will then be automatically sized depending on your chosen platform. Our platform supports:

Horizontal 1920 x 1080

Traaditional wide screen format works best on landing pages, Youtube.

Portrait 1080 x 1920

Instagram Stories and Reels, Facebook Stories, LinkedIn Stories, Youtube Stories.

Square 1080 x 1080

Works best on social media newsfeeds

Vertical 1350 x 1080

Slightly taller than square and works well on social newsfeeds

How to highlight words in my video?

Accepted Answer

If you would like to highlight a word or sentence in a scene with a different colour text, simply add square brackets around the desired text when entering your content into a scene.

Non highlighted words [highlighted words]

This will automatically highlight the text in a brand-aligned colour which has been pre-selected. It is not possible to choose what colour the highlight will be for each video.

Do you provide photos and videos that I can use as background media?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We have Unsplash integration giving you access to millions of images to use. We are also integrated with Shutterstock, allowing you to purchase images and video at a reduced rate through your Sixty Seconds account.

Of course, you can also upload your own images and videos to use as background media directly from your computer.

How to edit a video you have made?

Before you submit your final video for rendering, there is the option to ‘Email me when previews are ready’ to allow you to check over your video and amend it.

However, if your video has been returned to you and you would like to edit the content, here is how:

Step 1: Navigate to 'my videos' and find the video you wish to edit. Click 'play video'.

How to make a video?

Step 1 – select the platform you will be using to promote your video. (LinkedIn, Instagram Stories, Facebook, Twitter etc). Our dashboard will automatically scale your videos so they can be posted straight to them.

Step 2 – select your first scene for your video. Here you can choose between title scenes and detail scenes, along with sales scenes and vlog scenes. Simply hover over the scenes to see a preview. When you are ready, select the scene you would like to use.

Step 3 – Choose your scene layout. This gives you the ability to change the location of the text you selected in the previous step. At this stage it is useful to have an idea in mind of the type of background media you would like to use. If you are using people, you may want to choose a scene layout which is central or located at the bottom of the screen to avoid your text covering the faces of the people in your media. You can also choose between the ‘most popular’, ‘newest’ or ‘your favourite’ and ‘archived’ scenes.

Step 4 – Pick your scene transition. This will be how your scene transitions onto the page.

Step 5 – Here is where you select your background media for your scene. As you can see, you have the choice of using video or images. We are integrated with Shutterstock and you can purchase images and clips directly from our dashboard. We are also integrated with Unsplash where you can find free imagery. If you’d prefer you can also upload your own image and video files straight from your computer.

Step 6 – Enter Your Video content here.

Step 7 – You can choose to add other scenes or finish your video here.

Step 8 – If you decide that you want to re-order or edit the scenes you have created you are able to do so here. To re-order your scenes simply drag them into the new order. To edit your scenes, click on the pencil button next to the scene to make amendments.

Step 9 - Now it’s time to select your end card, or you can select no end card if you’d prefer. Your logo will automatically pull through to the end card you select. Pick your transition and pick your background media. Enter your website which will display under your logo.

Next click ‘Choose Audio’.

Here you can see audio clips which you have licensed via Shutterstock. If you haven’t licenced any audio, you have the option to upload audio straight from your computer. Alternatively, if you decide you don’t want to use audio for your video, just click ‘No Audio’.

Step 10 - Either ‘Email me when previews are ready’ to allow you to check over your video and amend it, or ‘Submit Final Video’.

Your video has now been submitted and will be returned to you via email within the hour. If, in the unlikely event of your video not being returned to you within the hour contact our support team, who will be happy to help.
