How to make a video?

Step 1 – select the platform you will be using to promote your video. (LinkedIn, Instagram Stories, Facebook, Twitter etc). Our dashboard will automatically scale your videos so they can be posted straight to them. Step 2 – select your first scene for your video. Here you can choose between title scenes and detail scenes, along with sales scenes and vlog scenes. Simply hover over the scenes to see a preview. When you are ready, select the scene you would like to use. Step 3 – Choose your scene layout. This gives you the ability to change the location of the text you selected in the previous step. At this stage it is useful to have an idea in mind of the type of background media you would like to use. If you are using people, you may want to choose a scene layout which is central or located at the bottom of the screen to avoid your text covering the faces of the people in your media. You can also choose between the ‘most popular’, ‘newest’ or ‘your favourite’ and ‘archived’ scenes. Step 4 – Pick your scene transition. This will be how your scene transitions onto the page. Step 5 – Here is where you select your background media for your scene. As you can see, you have the choice of using video or images. We are integrated with Shutterstock and you can purchase images and clips directly from our dashboard. We are also integrated with Unsplash where you can find free imagery. If you’d prefer you can also upload your own image and video files straight from your computer. Step 6 – Enter Your Video content here. Step 7 – You can choose to add other scenes or finish your video here. Step 8 – If you decide that you want to re-order or edit the scenes you have created you are able to do so here. To re-order your scenes simply drag them into the new order. To edit your scenes, click on the pencil button next to the scene to make amendments. Once you are happy with your video, click ‘Finish Video’. Step 9 - Now it’s time to select your end card, or you can select no end card if you’d prefer. Your logo will automatically pull through to the end card you select. Pick your transition and pick your background media. Enter your website which will display under your logo. Next click ‘Choose Audio’. Here you can see audio clips which you have licensed via Shutterstock. If you haven’t licenced any audio, you have the option to upload audio straight from your computer. Alternatively, if you decide you don’t want to use audio for your video, just click ‘No Audio’. Step 10 - Either ‘Email me when previews are ready’ to allow you to check over your video and amend it, or ‘Submit Final Video’. Your video has now been submitted and will be returned to you via email within the hour. If, in the unlikely event of your video not being returned to you within the hour contact our support team, who will be happy to help.

How to create a QR code for your video

To create a QR code for your video, select the video under the the 'my videos' tab and create a Public Promotion Page for that video (see our guidance to how to create a Public Promotion Page in our FAQs). Once you have your URL for your public promotion page, you need to generate your QR code. There are loads of free QR generator websites to use which can be found using a quick Google search. We have used https://www.the-qrcode-generator.com/ in our demo video.

Can I use my own photos and videos when making a video?

Accepted Answer

Yes. These can be uploaded when creating your video. They can also be added to your personal media library allowing you to access them quickly and easily in the future.

Drag and drop or click to select your images or videos. Check the add media to libary to store the media in your brand folder for future use.

How to create an infographic video?

We have created a range of scenes specifically to be used for infographics. Navigate to our video builder and select 'infographics' using the scene filters to view all infographic scenes.

How do I add a new user?

To add a new user, click on the ‘brand admin’ tab located on the grey menu on the left-hand side of the dashboard. If you cannot see the brand admin tab this means that you do not have the relevant permissions to access this. Next, click the ‘invite users’ button located on the top right of the brand admin page. This will open up a new user form. Simply enter the new users name and email address and select the permissions you would like them to have. ‘user’ will give the user full access to make videos on brand you have chosen. ‘brand admin’ will allow the user to edit the brand and add/edit users of that brand. ‘org admin’ will allow the user to add users to any brand, and make videos on multiple brands. To finish click ‘Send Invite’. An email will be sent to the new user with a link to sign up and create their login details.

How to deactivate a user?

To deactivate a user, click on the ‘configuration’ tab located on the grey menu on the left-hand side of the dashboard. This will open up a sub-menu. Next, click on the ‘users’ tab. If you cannot see the configuration tab this means that you do not have the relevant permissions to access this. Here you will be able to see the user admin page with a list of all users. To make the user inactive, click the tick icon to the right-hand side of the user’s name, this will deactivate the user you have selected. This user has not been deleted, their account remains on the dashboard, however they are unable to create any videos while deactivated. This can easily be reversed by re-activating the user following the same method.

How to submit a support ticket?

Support tickets are submitted through the Sixty Seconds messenger feature on the bottom left (app.sixtyseconds.video) or bottom right (www.sixtyseconds.video. We aim to get back to you within 24 hours of your ticket being submitted, however this may be slightly longer if submitted during a weekend. Please write as much detail in your message as possible to allow us to investigate the issue and get back to you as quickly as possible.

How to add music to your media library?

Accepted Answer

To add media to your brand media library, click on the ‘brand media’ tab located on the grey menu on the left. This will be the name of your brand, for example ours is ‘Sixty Seconds Media.’ (If you cannot see this folder, you have not signed up to our subscription which unlocks this feature).

This will open up a sub-menu. Click on the ‘add media file’ tab followed by the ‘add music track’ option in the dropdown menu.

By clicking the dropdown arrow next to ‘media file folder’ select which folder you would like to add media to.

Simply drag the files you wish to upload into the upload box, or click inside the box to select files from your computer.

As soon as a file is placed inside the upload box it will start uploading to the library, there is no need to do anything further.

What video sizes can I create?

When creating your video you will select which platform you will be using to share your content. Your video will then be automatically sized depending on your chosen platform. Our platform supports:

- Horizontal 1920 x 1080

Traaditional wide screen format works best on landing pages, Youtube.

- Portrait 1080 x 1920

Instagram Stories and Reels, Facebook Stories, LinkedIn Stories, Youtube Stories.

- Square 1080 x 1080

Works best on social media newsfeeds

- Vertical 1350 x 1080

Slightly taller than square and works well on social newsfeeds
